Sunday June 1st, 2008 was the last union meeting for the summer at UAW local 5960. So we decided to have a fund raising event for our chapter's educational fund by having an all you can eat taco lunch buffet. The food included soft and hard shell tacos, beans, rice, nachos and calabazita. We charged $7.00 a person and served between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. We raised over $200.00 for our efforts. Thank you to UAW local Pres. Pat Sweeney for allowing us to use the kitchen and have this fund raiser during their monthly membership meeting.Pictured from Lt to Rt is Rose Klein, David Mora and Don Klein. You do such a great job as El Presidente of LCLAA!!! You are so organized and a great leader. I'm proud of you and thanks for the yummy leftovers.
That was such good food! And Eva loved it too. You should be proud of yourself for all the hard work you put into LCLAA. I think you really make a difference.
